Mac @ 20: The Top 20 Mac Programs Ever
In keeping with our Mac @ 20 theme, Mind the Gap: The Weblog has a great list of the Top 20 Mac Programs. I would have to agree with just about everything the site lists. Pagemaker 1.0 was what got me hooked, Photoshop kept me going, and many of the iLife apps might just bring me back.

Mac @ 20- My Top Five Apple Computers

I lean toward the Microsoft OS, but I started my IT career managing some pretty large Mac environments. I really like the iPod and G5 today, but I have the fondest memories of a few older Macs. Here are my top five Apple computers from the past 20 years.
5) SE/30- I ran a good sized network with a couple of these little guys back many years ago and they never let me down.
4) Mac II- The first Mac you could really expand and tweak. Also the first that I used with a color monitor.
3) LC- I can't say this machine had any power, but the form factor was great. I love the idea of a thin pizza box design.
2) iMac- A home run when Apple really needed it.
1) 128K Mac- The one that started it all. I remember seeing the Superbowl ad that introduced it and driving by the only Apple dealer in town and seeing it in the window. It was years before I got to play with one, but it was a life changing experience once I did.

Why digital cameras = better photographers
Digital is cheaper than film so you can experiment without paying for it. You also tend to take more pictures which, in theory, should give you more pictures to edit. The key is editing out the bad pictures. Why digital cameras = better photographers
